Olympus Edge Artemis Pre Workout is a relatively new pre workout and today I’m thrilled to bring you my review of the product. In this Artemis Pre Workout Review I’ll answer every question that you might have about the product. Namely, does it work? What is in it? How does Artemis pre workout taste? And of course, you know we have to go over the packaging. I haven’t done a pre workout review in a few days, or has it been weeks? I don’t know. I’ve lost track of the time here in my own little time warp world that I live in. But. You know I’m going to tell you all about this pre workout in a manner the likes of which you just won’t find on any corner of the internet. I am the best at women’s pre workout reviews, and I’m pumped to do yet another one. I think I’m closing in on one hundred pre workout reviews here on the site, which is absolute madness if you really think about it. But. Let’s stop the delaying and get this Olympus Edge Artemis Pre Workout Review started.

So I was on Instagram as usual for my daily 4 hours of life-wasting today when I stumbled across a rather attractive young man (young means under 40 to me), and he was doing a mighty heavy dumbbell row. I don’t know if he was on steroids or not, but I started scrolling through his Instagram page because he was pretty attractive in my book. Naturally, he was affiliated with a supplement company. Darn. Hate it when that happens! Lol. The supplement company, as you might have guessed, is the company featured in today’s pre workout review. Olympus Edge has a pretty neat theme going on that is centered around the Greek mythology element. It’s super cool. Once I found out that they have a women’s pre workout, I knew I had to get my hands on some for a product review. Enter the Artemis pre workout. Let’s start the meat of the review the same way I start all pre workout reviews- with an analysis of the flavor:

Olympus Edge Artemis pre workout Flavor Grade: 8.4

This pre workout tastes ok. I’m not going to rag on it, and at the same time I’m not chomping at the bit to drink some Artemis. It tastes just ok to me. I tried the watermelon flavor and was expecting to be blown away. I was not. I found the pre workout to be definitely drinkable, and at first, I was pretty happy with the taste. When this pre workout first hits your lips, you’ll probably be in the same seat. Wow! This stuff is good! For the first, er, three sips. After your third sip (so precise, right?), you start to really get some aftertaste of artificial sweetener. If you’ve ever gotten sick of drinking Diet Coke, it’s probably for this reason. I know, you’re all like (“Sick of Diet Coke? Impossible. It does NOT happen”). Lol. I agree with you. But on those rare occasions when I DO get sick of Diet Coke, it’s because I start to really taste the artificial sweetener. And while the watermelon flavors in this pre workout are really quite pleasant, I’m really not that happy with the way the sweetener sort of overpowers the fruitiness. It’s strange because almost every pre workout I take has sucralose in it. So what gives with this one where it’s just not that great? I’m not sure. But. Guess what? The product performs really nicely regardless of taste.

Olympus Edge Artemis pre workout Performance Grade: 8.9

Artemis pre workout performs better than any new pre workout for women that I’ve tried in a really long time. I used Artemis for my Squat workout today. It was the first strength-training workout that I’ve done in around 3 weeks, so I have to say that at first I was a little nervous of my return to the iron sanctuary. Lol. Who calls it that? I do now I guess. But for my return to the Iron Sanctuary, (I feel like it should be capitalized and perhaps trademarked),(Who wants to start a gym franchise with me?!), I took a scoop and a half of Artemis, since I’m about the size of a girl and a half right now.

I did a few warmup sets of squats and also some jumping jacks and even right off the bat I could feel some warm energy start to pour over me. I think some of the strongest things about this pre workout are the focus and mentally feeling ‘dialed-in’ with this product, in a way that I am not always used to. If I had to grade this pre workout across multiple criteria, I would first and foremost grade the product highest on focus. On focus, this product gets a 9.4 out of 10. On energy I was also very impressed with Olympus Edge. Here is a product that whoops you in the booty and doesn’t apologize for it. I can only imagine what a full two scoops would do for me in terms of the energy and focus. I was able to squat 165 for five full working sets, which is really pretty good for me all things considered. For the last set, sure, I was very fatigued. But there’s no replacement for a few good heavy sets, and the Artemis pre workout helped me deliver those sets with fine form. Let’s look at the formula and see where the magic comes from with this pre workout.

Olympus Edge Artemis pre workout Formula Grade: 9.0

Looking over this supplement facts panel, there is a really good amount of raw materials in here. Olympus Edge went with the quantity of ingredients over any real big dosages of anything. The true strength of this formula, as you know from the performance section above, is the energy and focus. You can see almost half of the ingredients in this pre workout are included purely for this purpose. Here are the ingredients responsible for all the energy and focus benefits:

  • Glucuronolactone
  • Theanine
  • Caffeine
  • Theobromine
  • Octopalean
  • Advantra Z
  • Choline Bitartrate
  • DMAE
  • Mucuna L-Dopa
  • Evodiamine

Are there any doubters that this product kicks butt in terms of energy and focus? Didn’t think so. Lol. Just look at that big, beautiful list of energy and cognition enhancers! I’m particularly excited about the theobromine, which is found in chocolate and provides a calm source of ‘euphoric’ energy. The branded Octopalean is also of particular interest to me because I love anything that is heralded as an ‘ephedrine alternative’, which Octopalean is. Other highlights include Mucuna Pruriens, a mood enhancer, and also evodiamine, which is just fun to say even though I don’t know what it does.

Looking at the rest of the product, you have some pretty standard fat burning ingredients, a very minor pump element, and then a really good amount of endurance boosters. I think the most powerful performance boosters in here are the Beta alanine which is actually dosed quite heavily at 2 scoops. You WILL feel the tingles even at one scoop of Artemis. The strongest parts of the fat-burning complex in Artemis are the Carnitine and Hordenine. Garcinia Cambogia doesn’t really belong in here, nor do raspberry ketones. But they sound cool to talk about so I get why they were included by Olympus Edge.

Olympus Edge Artemis pre workout Packaging Grade: 8.4

I think Olympus Edge has done just fine on this pre workout from a packaging standpoint. The branding and overall feel actually remind me alot of the Athena pre workout, another pre workout for women named after a greek goddess that I actually really enjoy as well. On packaging though, I think the edge would have to go to Athena. Lol. It’s a goddess fight! But Artemis doesn’t look bad. The white and pink are more aesthetic than the black and pink that most women’s pre workout use. Furthermore, I think the subtle gray background texture adds alot of dimension and life to the design. What I don’ treally like are the cheesy, ‘clip art’ – looking wings that stand between the primary text and the aforementioned background. They don’t add anything to the design and they make some of the text more difficult to read. Another critique that i have on this product really goes along with this theme- and it’s that the information on the front panel is really quite cluttered. I know that they have alot of information to give us, but there HAVE to be ways to present the information clearly without having it be so disorganized-looking.

Olympus Edge Artemis pre workout Review Summary:

  • Olympus Edge Artemis pre workout Flavor Grade: 8.4
  • Olympus Edge Artemis pre workout Performance Grade: 8.9
  • Olympus Edge Artemis pre workout Formula Grade: 9.0
  • Olympus Edge Artemis pre workout Packaging Grade: 8.4
  • Olympus Edge Artemis Value Grade: 8.4

For $50, Olympus Edge Artemis is a hard sell for some. But when you consider how expensive this pre workout for women must have been to make, you can start to justify the price. Especially when you take a scoop and a half and crush your squat workout.*

Olympus Edge Artemis Final Review Score: 8.9
