Snac Nutrition Xpedite pre workout is one of my latest discoveries. And boy and I glad that I did find it. In this Snac Xpedite review I’ll tell you what I like about this pre workout. I’ll tell you about the flavor, and describe in super rich detail what it is like to pour this pre workout down your throat. Yes. I get very detailed in my reviews. Lol. I think you’ll find that this review is more in-depth than any other Snac Xpedite review on the internet anywhere. I’m serious. You will see. I bring some real intensity to my reviews that you just won’t find anywhere else! After we talk about how Snac Xpedite tastes, we’re going to spend some time talking about the formula- which in my opinion is the true strength of the product. After we talk formula, we’ll talk performance. This is going to be the most interesting for you so you can get a sense of what it feels like to take a few scoops of this pre workout. It’s good stuff from my own experience. The final criteria that I’ll grade Xpedite pre workout on is the labeling. Because let’s face it. Looks are important. Sound like a good plan? I thought so to. Let’s bring it on. Here is my Snac Xpedite review.

So my next review is going to be on a really cool new product from SLAP Nutrition, but that is not to be confused with SNAC Nutrition. SNAC is the super high-quality manufacturer of the Xpedite pre workout among other products in their lineup. My knowledge of SNAC is that it is the brainchild of Victor Conte, the science guru who I believe started the ZMA movement. Basically people take ZMA before bed to increase testosterone levels. Whether or not it actually works is not clear to me. But I know SNAC Nutrition has a very serious following among the boxing community. Boxers are very serious athletes, so they must be onto something right? Actually it was one of my boxing friends that told me about SNAC, which is why I decided to do this review. Since my specialty is pre workouts, I decided that I would have to give Xpedite the first review of any of their products. I’m pumped to tell you what I’ve found so far in my experience with Xpedite.

SNAC Xpedite Flavor Grade: 8.8

I’m giving Xpedite pre workout an above average grade on the taste because, well, it tastes just slightly above average. It’s not anything crazy in terms of taste, but it’s just solid all around. The flavor that I tried is the raspberry lemonade. In comparison to some of the other raspberry lemonade flavored products that I’ve tried, this one falls somewhere in the average to above average zone. It’s not as good as raspberry lemonade Pre-Jym, I know that. In my opinion the lemonade side of this pre workout sort of outweighs the raspberry. SNAC Xpedite is too sour and not quite berry and sweet enough for me. When you take your first sip your brain immediately thinks ‘lemon’ because it’s very tart and actually sort of smells like lemons too- in the same way that bathroom cleaner smells like lemons. In a very sort of artificial way. But that’s just the way it is with supplements. For the most part, I found this product to be drinkable, but not something that you are going to look forward to everyday by any means. It’s just ok. Let’s get into some of the more important stuff. Taste isn’t

SNAC Xpedite Formula Grade: 9.4

I think the formulation of this pre workout is it’s true strength. The taste was just ok, but when you take a look at the ingredients in this pre workout, you start to get a much better feel for the product and what to expect in the performance department. The first thing that I noticed when I was turning this product over in my hands is that the formula is a completely non-proprietary blend. That means you can see right away that there are line-items for each of the ingredients listed. Basically what SNAC is doing here is saying ‘hey, we don’t care if we get our formula copied, we are going to be totally transparent in how we label our products’. It’s not a bad recipe for success in this day and age where everyone wants to know what exactly they are putting in their bodies. Here is the full ingredient list in Xpedite Performance Energy:

  • Vitamin C
  • Biotin
  • L-Carnitine
  • Beta-Alanine
  • Taurine
  • L-Citrulline DL-Malate
  • L-Arginine
  • L-Tyrosine
  • DL-Phenylalanine
  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • R-Lipoic Acid

As you can see, this product uses several of the popular ingredients that you are used to seeing in pre workout products in the modern era. What I like most about the blend is the use of L-Carnitine. It’s almost a lost art to use this amino anymore even though it is widely regarded as one of the most effective when it comes to boosting workout performance. The other thing I really like here is the combination of ingredients used to boost the energy. DL-Phenylalanine combined with caffeine s R-Lipoic Acid is a superb trifecta for boosting pre workout energy. Needless to say I was super pumped to see what sort of results I got in the gym given the impressive ingredients and wonderful formulation.

SNAC Xpedite Performance Grade: 8.9

I’ll admit that for as good as the formula looks on paper, I was just a little bit underwhelmed by the workout performance. I don’t want you to get the impression that the performance is BAD or NEGATIVE, but coming off workouts with Pre Kaged and some other really high-performance pre workouts, I just didn’t think that Xpedite was all that great. I took a scoop and a half (because I’m a big girl) about 20 minutes before my weekly rowing workout, which is 3 2k meter jaunts separated by about one minute and a half of rest. During my first row, I felt very strong. I powered through the first thousand meters basically without feeling a thing. Meters 1000 through 1500 dragged on a little bit, but I was able to close out the first leg without being too drained. The second one was make or break time. My second 2k was a battle. It always is, but this morning seemed to be even harder than usual. I don’t know what the deal was, but I just was not feeling so great out there. The product almost seemed to give out about halfway through things. I really wished I had some better endurance from Xpedite because if you have ever done a hard rowing workout before, you know it can get downright miserable in a hurry. And that’s pretty much what happened. I was dragging butt by the time my third 2k came time. I don’t really want to spend too much time talking about that third 2k because quite frankly it was very, very unpleasant. So. Yeah. Xpedite performs very well at the outset, and for that first burst of energy and performance along I am giving it an above average grade. But truth be told this one could have been so much better if it lasted longer. Like my ex. LOL. You’re hilarious, Allie. I know. But seriously. I wonder if using some of the Terra Beadlet technology from Performix Ion would have helped this product perform better. Just a though. Just trying to help. As usual.

SNAC Xpedite Packaging Grade: 7.0

It’s out of pity that I didn’t fail this packaging- but honestly it is terrible. I won’t even spend too much time on it because it’s so medieval and basic looking that I barely have anything to talk about at all. The colors. Let’s start there. Teal and yellow is quite possibly the ugliest combination that I’ve seen worn on a pre workout in a very long time. There is a a very strange sort of gradient, flowy thing in the background that makes me want to vomit more than just a little bit. The usage of drop-shadows, bevels, and outlines is enough to make Johnny Ive turn over in his grave if he were dead. I really don’t have much more to say other than that. I want to cut off the packaging review section right there purely so that I can stop staring at the hideous jar of Xpedite on my kitchen counter. I’m actually going to hide it in a cupboard now so that nobody has to be exposed to it’s shameful appearance. It’s like the ugly monster from the Disney movies that you feel bad for that it’s so ugly. Which one was that, Beauty and the Beast? Probably. I didn’t watch TV as a kid because I was not granted that luxury. I played outside. That’s why I’m such a well-adjusted young adult. Yeah I can’t even say that with a straight face. Let’s wrap up this SNAC review and move on with life.

SNAC Xpedite Performance Energy Review Summary:

  • SNAC Xpedite Flavor Grade: 8.8
  • SNAC Xpedite Formula Grade: 9.4
  • SNAC Xpedite Performance Grade: 8.9
  • SNAC Xpedite Packaging Grade: 7.0
  • SNAC Xpedite Value Grade: 8.8

At just about $1.50 per serving, Xpedite is priced about where you would expect. It’s not a value pre workout by any means, but at the same time, it’s a very well-made formula. You can’t blame them for charging a fair amount. I personally am not in love with Xpedite because I think there are better options out there. But that’s not to say it’s not a good pre workout. Because it is. If you are thinking of trying it, than you should. You won’t be disappointed.*

SNAC Xpedite Pre Workout Final Review Score: 8.8
